Overview

Studying Law in Bengaluru

Bengaluru is home to the High Court of Karnataka, city civil and criminal courts, tribunals and a large corporate legal community — which means law students in the city have courts, chambers and legal workplaces close at hand for observation and internships.

HPUCL is located on Risaldar Street, opposite the Old Kino Theatre, Seshadripuram — a central locality that day scholars from across the city can reach without long commutes. Teaching follows the curriculum prescribed by Karnataka State Law University, Hubballi, and the requirements applicable to law programmes in India.

Students take part in moot court exercises, legal drafting and skill development sessions along with classroom instruction. Free hostel facilities are offered to economically backward students across all communities, subject to eligibility, availability, verification and approval by the institution.
